What is stored on your device
The app stores the following data in its local app storage to retain preferences and game results:
- Settings: difficulty, high-score display, confetti and the saved score.
- High scores: score achieved, difficulty and the date and time of the result.
- Question statistics: a question identifier, how often and when it was last shown, and counts of correct, incorrect and unanswered questions. Internal identifiers organise these entries; they are not advertising or device identifiers.
- Technical timestamp of the last check for additional language files inside the app package. This check downloads nothing from the internet.
Quiz questions and translations are imported from bundled files into a local database. The language supplied by the system is used to select text. You do not need a user account.
Does the app transmit data?
The reviewed app contains no app-initiated network requests and does not send the game data or preferences described above to me or a server operated by me. It includes no analytics or advertising SDKs, tracking, Game Center or app-managed cloud sync. It does not access contacts, location, camera or microphone.
Apple services and diagnostics
The App Store, operating system and any enabled device backups involve Apple’s processing. System backups may contain app data. Depending on your diagnostic settings, Apple may provide me with app analytics or crash reports. These are separate from local game statistics.
If you use a TestFlight beta, Apple automatically shares crash and usage data with me, and may share invitation details. Feedback you submit may include comments and screenshots. I use these reports to diagnose problems and improve the app.

Purposes and legal bases
Local storage provides the game functions you request and retains your preferences and results (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where personal data is processed). General support enquiries and the review of reports made available to me rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in providing support and a functioning app. Contract-related enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable. Apple’s own processing is described in its notices.
Retention and deletion
The app has no automatic deletion period or built-in deletion feature for local preferences and results. These remain for as long as its app storage exists. You can remove them using the operating system’s option to remove the app together with its data. Offloading an app does not delete its data. Data in device backups is managed separately through the relevant backup settings and is not necessarily deleted at the same time. I cannot access or erase your local game data remotely.
I delete copies of diagnostic reports and support messages that I retain no later than twelve months after handling is complete. Where a matter remains ongoing or a legal retention obligation applies, I retain the data needed for that purpose for longer. Reports available within Apple’s developer tools are also subject to Apple’s retention rules.
If you contact me
You choose whether to email me information or screenshots. I then receive your sender address and the content you provide. The app does not send support data automatically.
